Kai (he/him) envisions a world where human collaboration mirrors the symbiotic relationships in a rainforest, fostering support and growth across diverse communities. Inspired by the metaphor of the rainforest, Kai helped to organize the Caribbean Tree Planting Project (CTPP) in 2020, aiming to plant 1 million trees and adapt strategies to meet local needs despite the challenges posed by COVID-19. He later founded Big Leaf, an organization dedicated to improving livelihoods in the developing world through environmental stewardship and carbon removal projects. Currently, Kai is earning an MBA at Harvard Business School, where he continues to hone his capacity to transform his vision into reality, foster trust at scale, and empower communities to achieve human-centered outcomes.
