Cody studied Environmental Science and Policy at Duke University and graduated in 2012 with a focus on the methods and motivations of sustainable development. Since then he has been working through the LLC he started in college as a sustainability consultant in sectors such as energy efficiency, regenerative agriculture, sustainable housing, and waste-to- value. He has worked in such roles as business development, communications, branding, marketing, PR, stakeholder/client engagement, and project management. Cody is a certified LEED GA and excels at communicating complex technical concepts and turning them into marketable and commercially viable products that leverage technology as a tool for social good.
Eventually (hopefully sooner rather than later) I want to help design, build, and operate the Beyond Sustainable cities of the future including their surrounding, supportive ecological systems. We can blend the built environment with the natural environment to create cities that can thrive even under conditions of catastrophic climate change. I’m looking to work with others that want to do the same.
