Flora is committed to improving the health of others through occupational therapy, research, and community involvement. She currently serves as the Managing Editor of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists’ Occupational Therapy Now journal, the premier practice publication in her field. Flora is pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where her research focuses on the relationship between both creative and social occupational engagement and health. Flora has a MSc in Occupational Therapy from Western University, and a BA in Psychology from Queen’s University. Prior to her appointment as Managing Editor of Occupational Therapy Now, Flora spent a number of years as a practicing occupational therapist, working as a case manager and providing occupational therapy services to members of the community.
