Andrea Martinie-Eiler

With a deep love for community and a lifelong commitment to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for those in need, Andrea (she/her) finds joy in sharing life with others and creating vibrant, intentional communities. As a co-founder of a Catholic Worker community in Bloomington, Indiana, Andrea provides daily support to guests and community members while guiding the growth and education of her own four children. Over the past 16 years, Andrea and her family have welcomed and cared for nearly 200 previously homeless guests in their home. Andrea recently completed a three-year term on the Vestry of her local Episcopal church and serves on the Steering Committee of the Nurturing Communities Network. Through her work, she helps others discern their calling and fosters connections between intentional communities. As she transitions to a new chapter with all four of her children attending public school, Andrea hopes to pursue new opportunities for personal and professional growth. She aspires to complete a CNA course and is excited about the potential to deepen her self-knowledge and prepare for the next chapter of her life.
